Korea time planner
Convert a Seoul time to your local date and time
Planning a call with family in Korea, watching an event, or making a reservation? Enter the date and time announced for Seoul, then choose a city. The result shows the local clock time and whether it falls on another calendar day.

Why the date can change
South Korea uses Korean Standard Time (KST), nine hours ahead of UTC. For example, 8:00 p.m. in Seoul on September 29, 2026 is 11:00 a.m. UTC on the same date. A city west of Korea may still be on the previous calendar day. This tool interprets the entered clock time in Asia/Seoul and formats the same instant in the selected city’s time zone.
It does not assume a fixed offset for New York, London, Sydney, or any other destination. Daylight-saving changes are taken from the time-zone data in your browser. For instance, 8:00 p.m. in Seoul on January 15, 2026 is 6:00 a.m. in New York; on July 15, 2026 it is 7:00 a.m. The Seoul time stays the same, while New York’s offset changes.
Before a time-critical call or booking
- Confirm that the organizer really means Seoul time. A date and time without a named time zone can be ambiguous.
- Check the local date as well as the hour, especially for early-morning or late-night Seoul events.
- Time-zone rules can change, and browsers receive updates at different times. Confirm important travel or booking times with the organizer.
The input is converted in your browser and is not sent to this site. This is a planning aid, not a live synchronized clock.
